Jenna Monroe is an inspirational and imaginative performance practitioner and coach/accompanist who has trained extensively with top teachers and therapists in both the U.K. and the U.S.A.

After studying piano on scholarship at the Ghent Conservatory of Music, Belgium, Jenna continued her piano study at the Indiana School of Music, where she changed her degree midway to singing. Accepting a choral scholarship at the University of Nevada, Reno, in order to study with the director of the Nevada Opera Company, Jenna completed her undergraduate degree there, obtaining a B.A. Honours in singing. She was then offered a full academic scholarship to pursue an M.A. in Music Theatre at Arizona State University. After one term, she dropped it to move to England where she completed an opera training at I Commediante while studying privately with Ian Barr.

Jenna has a postgraduate qualification in music therapy at the University of Bristol, a foundation training in Buddhist-based core process psychotherapy, a Steiner teacher training, Reiki I, II and III, sound healing training with leading exponent, Peter Wright, and continues her development with a year in the Nomadic Academy of Fools, directed by radical improvisational theatre exponent, Jonathan Kay.

Her own work is a unique and integrated synthesis which draws equally from mainstream, therapeutic and experimental training and performance practice.
